About Us

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • The Bible. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments
  • were given by inspiration of God, are complete and without error,

and are of supreme and final authority in faith and practice.

    (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Revelations 22:18-19)

  • God. We believe there is only one living an true God. All things were created
  • by Him. He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 10-38)

  • God the Father. We believe God is our spiritual father who seeks fellowship
  • with us as His children. We believe we were created to worship Him. He

provides for our every need and answers our prayers.

    (Psalms 68:5, Matthew 6:25-33, Romans 8:15-17)

  • God the Son. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was both man and God, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He shed His Blood and died on the cross for all sin, was resurrected from the grave and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf. We believe Jesus Christ is the only head of the church. Confessing and turning from our sin, believing in Him, and accepting Him as Lord and Savior is the only means of securing forgiveness and receiving salvation.
  • (Matthew 3:17, Matthew 16:15-17, Acts 7:56)

  • God the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit was sent by God the Father to be our Counselor. He convicts the world of sin. He teaches us and reminds us of Jesus’ words. He lives within us and empowers us as believers in Jesus Christ.
  • (John 16:5–15, Romans 8:26–27)

  • Salvation. We believe salvation is a free gift given to all who believe. Salvation is entirely by grace from God because of His love for us and cannot be earned. We believe salvation is initiated by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, and occurs when we accept and place our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is necessary for a relationship with God. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the eternal security of the believer, and the eternal punishment of the unsaved.
  • (John 10:27–29, Acts 16:30–31, Romans 3:21–30)

  • Church. We believe the church is the body of Jesus Christ, and is composed of all who profess Him as Lord and Savior. We believe the Holy Spirit equips individual believers so that each local church and the body of all believers can fulfill the ministry of Christ. (Romans 12:4–8, Ephesians 4:4–16)
